Pi Network Infrastructure Upgrades: Potential Catalyst for Price Recovery?
Pi Coin continues to trade NEAR its all-time low, creating a mix of investor anxiety and anticipation for a potential rebound. The network's latest infrastructure enhancements focus on operational stability and expanded accessibility.
Pi Network has introduced a Linux Node solution, eliminating the need for custom builds and streamlining protocol updates. Service providers and exchanges operating Linux environments can now implement standardized node software, reducing configuration inconsistencies. The upgrade also incorporates an auto-update feature to improve overall network stability.
Protocol upgrades are being deployed in phases, starting with Testnet1 this week. Testnet2 will follow before Mainnet transitions to version 23—a modified implementation of stellar Protocol v23. Notably, Pi plans to integrate KYC authority at the protocol layer, gradually decentralizing verification processes across the network.
